BIO
Selected 5th overall in the 2006 MLB draft, Brandon Morrow has become one of baseball’s top pitchers. After a highlight filled college career which included being named to the first team All-Pac 10 his junior year and being selected as a Cape Cod League All-Star in 2006, Brandon would spend only one season in the minor leagues before making his MLB debut. Brandon quickly justified his first round selection by setting a Mariners club record with 18 holds in his rookie season and in that same year he would record 18 and two thirds consecutive scoreless innings from April 20 to June 8. In Brandon’s second year in the big leagues, he would take over as closer for the Mariners before making the transition to starter. In December 2009 Brandon was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays and in the following year Brandon became a mainstay on the Jays rotation. Since his first season in Toronto, Brandon has cemented himself as one of the game’s top starting pitchers and is now being relied upon more than ever from a Jays team poised to win it all.
As a Type I Diabetic, and after joining the Blue Jays, Brandon discovered the BioSteel High Performance Sports Drink and was amply impressed with the results he got and that he experienced no fluctuations in his blood-glucose levels. BioSteel HPSD #DrinkThePink is now a permanent part of Brandon’s training and in-game regimen.
