Jordan Spieth is an American pro golfer who has won the U.S Junior Amateur multiple times. Jordan attended the University of Texas where he lead his team to a national championship during his freshman year. Jordan finished tied for 21st and low amateur at the 2012 US Open, making him the #1 ranked player in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. Jordan turned professional in December 2012 and in July 2013 won the John Deere Classic to become the youngest player in 82 years to win a PGA Tour Event. With the victory, Spieth became eligible for the FedEx Cup. Only five weeks after his first victory, he nearly notched another at the Wyndham Championship, where he finished second. Spieth shot a final round of 62 in the Deutsche Bank Championship, vaulting him into a tie for fourth and 28th in the Official World Golf Ranking. Just two days later, he was selected to represent the United States squad in the 2013 Presidents Cup.
