BIO
Tyler Seguin was selected 2nd overall in the 2010 NHL entry draft by the Boston Bruins. Drafted for his speed and tremendous offensive upside, Tyler was one of the Bruins most anticipated rookies in the last decade. Living up to the hype Tyler would make his NHL debut on October 9th 2010 and would score his first NHL goal the next night in Phoenix. During the 2011 NHL playoffs Tyler would become the first teenager since 1989 to record 4 points in a playoff game during his game 3 performance against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Tyler’s continued strong performance throughout the playoffs would help his team capture the Stanley Cup. Seguin, the club's leading scorer in the 2011-12 season at just 20 years old, signed a six-year contract extension with the Boston Bruins. The next season, Tyler once again played in the Stanley Cup Final. On July 4, 2013, the Boston Bruins traded Seguin to the Dallas Stars, where he is projected to be the teams first line center.
