BIO
A 5-time Pro-Bowler, Steve Smith is one of the NFL’s elite wide receivers. After being drafted late in the third round in 2001, Steve began his career on special teams and earned a Pro Bowl spot in his rookie season for his strong performance. The following season Steve earned a spot as a starting wide receiver and did not disappoint becoming the team’s leader in receiving yards. After his first year as a starter, Steve became the team’s #1 option at wide receiver and in 2003 he would help lead his team to the Superbowl. Steve would suffer a setback in the 2004 season, suffering a severe break in his leg in the opening game of the year. In 2005 Steve posted one of the greatest comeback seasons in NFL history where he would lead the league in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns. Steve has continued to post top tier numbers in each of his ensuing seasons and continues to be a big concern for opposing defenses.
